Aspiring MD-PhD candidate studying at the University of Florida. I have a strong academic background and diverse experience in research, healthcare, and patient care services. I have worked in multiple research labs, gained extensive experience in direct patient care, and accumulated a wide range of shadowing experience across multiple specialties, which I complemented with continued volunteer work at patient care facilities. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in both Florida and New York, having completed a nationally accredited Nursing Assistant course. I have also completed an accredited Medical Assistant course and earned my Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification through the NHA. In addition, I have expanded my emergency care skills by earning my Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification. I have also completed IACUC-approved trainings focused on working with murine models and adhering to research protocols in laboratory settings.
