I was founder of Vintage Twists the vintage style/pin up/rockabilly retail company and was also owner of Pinkies Diner which provided a combination of amazing coffee, magical milkshakes and a fun selection of rock \'n\' roll in Manchester\'s Affleck\'s Palace. Previously I was an established academic researcher specializing in qualitative sociology with experience of working in psychology and communications departments and business schools. I have been the holder of National and European funding for research on computer games, mobile telecoms and counterfeiting with associated publishing in these fields. Specialising in economic- and interactionist sociology looking to further develop international research networks including industry, academia and policy agencies.
