Sophisticated clients need intelligent, experienced, and practical counsel. After Yale University and New York University School of Law, I worked in the private sector for three years and served in a federal judicial clerkship in Washington, D.C. In 2004, I began an incredibly rewarding 11-year stint as a federal prosecutor in the United States Attorney\'s Office for the Southern District of New York, during which I- conducted 13 federal jury trials and never lost a trial- tried numerous high-profile cases, including the Riverdale bomb plot terrorism trial and a public corruption case involving a Yonkers City Councilwoman and her political patron convicted of conspiracy, mail fraud, wire fraud, bribery, extortion, mortgage fraud, and tax fraud- successfully prosecuted two New York State Senators, political aides, and developers for corruption crimes and tax fraud- handled a vast array of white-collar fraud cases- spent six years prosecuting international and domestic terrorism cases as well as national security cases involving unlawful exports and international money laundering- supervised three FBI squads consisting of approximately 50 federal law enforcement agents, providing them with legal counsel during investigations- worked national security cases with foreign prosecutors, law enforcement, and intelligence agencies, as well as with the U.S. intelligence community, and possessed Top Secret/SCI security clearance. In the fall of 2015, I moved to the private sector. During this time, I have represented a wide array of corporations and individuals in white-collar matters and investigations. In September 2018, I joined Mintz as a Member in the New York office. I defend and represent clients in cases involving, among others, the United States Attorney\'s Offices, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the NYS AG\'s Office, and other agencies. I also represent clients in a wide array of complex commercial litigation.
