As an E-Learning Specialist at Mark\'s, I leverage over 8 years of experience in instructional design and leadership to create innovative and effective learning solutions. With a strong foundation from my Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Music degrees from the University of Calgary, I blend pedagogical expertise with advanced learning technologies such as Articulate 360 to develop immersive e-learning programs that meet business demands.In my current role, I lead the development and execution of training programs that have significantly enhanced employee onboarding, reduced turnover rates by 25%, and earned recognition through a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DIB) award. My strategic mindset and collaborative approach have been instrumental in initiating and managing the Learning & Development community of practice for over 30 professionals at Canadian Tire Corporation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Prior to this, my tenure at the Calgary Board of Education as a Music Specialist allowed me to hone my skills in curriculum development and team leadership. I successfully led cross-functional teams to design tailored learning programs, coordinated large-scale events, and directed fundraising initiatives, raising up to for educational projects.As Vice President of Education at Mark\'s Toastmasters Club, I manage meeting agendas, oversee member progress, and develop strategic plans to enhance the club\'s educational offerings.
