About Jason Miles
Professional Engineer: 2010 to present-Engineer-in-training: 20••••10-Civil Engineering Student at Western Kentucky University: received his magna cum laude degree in Civil Engineering from Western Kentucky University. Jason completed several specialized courses related to his current position, some of which include Hydrology and Hydraulic engineering, Geotechnical and Foundations engineering, Surveying levels I and II, Structural engineering, and Construction Methods and Management. While attending Western Kentucky University Jason also had the opportunity to gain first hand engineering experience by working as engineering support on several construction projects in and around the campus. These engineering activities included concrete inspector, traffic studies and surveying/drafting. In Jason’s seven years at Lose he has worked on various residential, commercial, and parks/recreational projects providing civil engineering design services which included site utilities, stormwater management, roadway alignments and grading. Jason has also gained a working knowledge of State and Federal environmental permitting by working with Federal, State and Local agencies in obtaining numerous environmental permits. Some of which include Section 404 CORP permits, Aquatics Resources Alteration permits, injection well/sinkhole repair permits and NPDES construction permits.
