About Jason McGlothern
A driven individual whose goal is to develop more, aware, intentional, and responsible players, coaches, and people within the game and in life, in order to impact the current paradigm of youth soccer within the United States. Through my playing experiences at Atalanta Bergamo (Italy), 1. FC Nürnberg academy(Germany), Seattle Sounders academy and collegiate soccer (VCU), I have been exposed to different environments, mentors, coaches, and cultures all over the world that have given me a framework and an understanding of different competencies and unique strategies to be of value. The relevant coaching experiences and education I have been exposed to, have continued to shape me into the best version of myself, leaving a desire and itch to continue to grow and learn from many competent organizations, federations and people I have come in contact with. I have completed a master in sport management at the Johan Cruyff Institute in Amsterdam, having gained competencies useful for different facets within the sport management world.
