About Jason Kenyon

I am currently in the Greater Seattle area working for Expedia Group, Inc. I am an IT professional that can bring a diverse skill set and detail oriented programming skills that will benefit any employer. I am always looking for opportunities that can provide me with the ability to work with emerging, and existing, technologies to provide a better user experience to both internal and external customers. Previous to my move to Seattle, I had been working for U-Haul International in Phoenix, working on enterprise wide software applications that provide services and functionality to internal employees as well as to external customers. I was largely the only person in charge of the coding and upkeep of the newly launched \"U-Box\" program at U-Haul, which has quickly grown to one of the largest moneymakers for U-Haul. I have since moved on to a rewrite team that is currently re-writing the whole U-Haul internal website used for storage maintenance and rentals by our client storage locations. This has been a great opportunity to really dive in and experience application development from the ground up. Before U-Haul, I worked for the University of Phoenix and Apollo Group on their internal websites. During my time at Apollo Group, I was able to develop many ASP.NET web parts, SharePoint Features, and Custom Web Services to extend the SharePoint platform and add custom functionality, designed to supplement or replace existing business systems. I really appreciated my time working for UOP and Apollo Group, as they gave me the opportunity to return to school and earn my BSIT and MIS degrees.
