   Spearheaded strategic and operational leadership for a 15-member intergovernmental agency, resulting in enhanced regional coordination and measurable progress on affordable housing goals, including increased funding allocations and policy adoption across member jurisdictions- Developed and executed annual work plans, legislative agendas, and budgets to align with organizational goals- Secured in state grants to support multi-jurisdictional middle housing planning, resulting in actionable regulatory and zoning recommendations for five cities- Secured an additional for co-living housing regulation efforts, to support housing codes that directly address affordable living solutions- Negotiated the creation of a regional housing capital fund, with annual contributions ranging from to to support affordable housing development- Facilitated allocation of over $24.5 million in capital funding for affordable housing projects during the 2023 legislative session- Drafted municipal codes and legislation for affordable housing programs, including tax exemptions, impact fee waivers, and revenue usage- Advocated for and achieved passage of key legislation (e.g, SB 6173 and SSB 5604).Established in 2021, the South Sound Housing Affordability Partners (SSHA3P) is an intergovernmental collaboration between the Cities and Towns of Auburn, DuPont, Edgewood, Fife, Fircrest, Gig Harbor, Lakewood, Milton, Puyallup, Sumner, Steilacoom, Tacoma, and University Place, Pierce County and the Puyallup Tribe of Indians, working together to create and preserve affordable, attainable, and accessible housing throughout our communities.
