As a cloud provider using primarily VMWare products. I provide sales support with new product additions and customer evaluations for architecting and engineering new solutions. Provide 7x24 support for all VMWare aspects (not limited to Cloud Director, vRealize Operations, VCPP management), and Cisco UCS to managed customers. Key player of a team of 4-6 that supports 600+ ESXi hosts and VM’s running varying versions of Windows and Linux, with application functions of basic servers to SAP/SQL boxes. Mange VMWare Cloud Director and Usage Meter for VCPP program. Create and manage server deployment templates for virtual machines. Perform VMware host installs, upgrades, and configuration changes based on statistical data gained from monitoring and reports while working within the customer change control process as well as the CBTS change control process. Manage all aspects of several high profile project, while completing on time and under budget. Assign resources, scheduled tasks, and customer and vendor management. Write SOP’s and well as KB’s for junior level technician to use to complete tasks. Train multiple new employees and mentored others as they came onboard. Multiple spot awards for going above and beyond with customer interaction and sales/support discussions. Maintained a high-ticket closure rate for the virtualization team during the previous twelve-month period.
