ABOUT JASON GARCIA

Over 18 months professional experience in the Financial Services industry with focus on customer service and sales. 2020 Indiana University graduate with a Bachelor\'s of Science from the School of Informatics and a business certificate at the Kelley School of Business- IU Dance Marathon participant 2015 & 2016 Indiana University Dance Marathon is the largest collegiate Dance Marathon in the Nation. In 2015 IU Dance Marathon raised $3.88 million dollars for Riley Children\'s Hospital- Special Olympics torchbearer 2015 - Member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity at Indiana University Carmel High School class of 2015 - Academic Honors Diploma - Carmel High School Dance Marathon participant As a high school student it is important to contribute to something bigger than just yourself. Dance Marathon is the second largest student run organization in the world. Carmel High School became the largest high school Dance Marathon in the nation, raising roughly for Riley Children\'s Hospital in 2014. Becoming involved in dance marathon increased my interest in contributing to non-for profit organizations and developed my leadership, communication, and networking skills- DECA International Career Development Conference 2014 and 2015 for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Creative Marketing DECA is a non for profit organization that is offered as an extracurricular activity to high school students world wide and is a remarkable experience in the preparation of emerging leaders and entrepreneurs. DECA developed my skills in business presentations, public speaking, leadership, creativity, innovation, networking and teamwork. DECA is all business and team oriented competitions that emphasize the ability to come up with creative ideas and determine how they will be implemented in the business world- Carmel High School Football alumni: State Champion and two time State Runner Up Football helped develop my skills in both leadership and time management. Four years at the varsity level requires an immense amount of time and dedication to be successful both on the field and academically.
