To lead a high performing team of ore hunters to a Greenfields discovery in North America and develop a pipeline of advanced projects to bolster growth. • Contribute to EVNs Discovery group principles, standards, strategy and plans. • Lead a regional team’s exploration strategy, plans and budgets. • Mentor a team of geoscientists to build a high performing and engaged team environment. • Maintain in good standing EVNs exploration tenure and relationships with government authorities, operating with sensitivity and perception to First Nations. • Source contractors/consultants required in support of exploration programs. • Keep the team updated on North American activities and projects. • Establish, build and manage foundational exploration datasets (drilling, geophysical, geochemical and geological), ensuring quality control and quality assurance. • Lead and manage field geological mapping, drill-hole logging, stream sediment, soil and rock-chip geochemical sampling and geophysical programs. • Lead the interpretation of geological, geochemical and geophysical data to understand the significance of results and to define follow-up program designs. • Undertake target generation initiatives from all available data and continuously prioritize for follow-up and next steps. • Deliver government mandated geological reporting and environmental reporting. • Consider and manage the cultural heritage, community relations and environmental implications of exploration activities. • Be a leader in identifying and reporting potential hazards and eliminating risk taking behaviors or actions. Minimize the company risk exposure and liabilities by monitoring activities to ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory and licensing requirements. • Lead the management of health, safety and security standards and principles, both within own workplace and through the identification of potential risks throughout Evolution. • Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the EVN values.
