I\'m a Senior Software Development Leader at IBM with 23+ years of experience. I provide upline leadership for IBM\'s Vulnerability Management tooling and multiple security & data privacy compliance solutions under the Office of the CISO. My area supports core elements of Supply Chain Security in support of the related Biden Administration Executive Order. My PSIRT tooling effectively tracks vulnerabilities in IBM\'s products (on-prem, SaaS, etc.) by leveraging a highly-integrated solution built on top of ServiceNow. I support PSIRT Operations by engaging Product Responders, ensuring quality security bulletins, and supporting improvements in the PSIRT process. For all tools, Agile Development, Enterprise Design Thinking, and SecDevOps principles are applied to deliver faster, more secure, code better aligned to our stakeholders.I have deep and proven experience as a technical Development Manager. Talent management and maintaining a culture of innovation are important and satisfying aspects of my job. Advancing the goals of the business while serving the needs of my employees is always a top priority. I\'ve been a part of teams for several #1-rated products (per Gartner Research) such as WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere Business Process Manager. I\'ve written extensive amounts of code, filed 10 patents (7 issued), and mentored numerous individuals through channels such as the IBM-NCSU Pathfinders Program. I\'ve accepted invitations to speak at both Wake Tech Community College and Durham Tech.I\'m truly passionate about my work because leading and growing individuals is a satisfying experience. Software development at IBM has allowed me to integrate my love of technology into a very successful career. I enjoy working in an organization that provides real solutions to global customers looking to succeed in today\'s mobile- and cloud-based platforms. I was awarded for my leadership related to IBM Apprentices and Interns.I graduated Cum Laude from North Carolina State University with a BS degree in Computer Science (and a minor in Mathematics).
