Currently leading a team of highly experienced Cloud Architects focussed on DC Exits and database consolidation to OCI, ExaCC and DRCC working with Oracle\'s largest financial services customers across EMEA. Built and recruited a highly experienced team of Oracle Database and infrastructure practitioners. Ran a European wide team of highly experienced Oracle Database and Infrastructure professionals. Client focussed and advised customers on design, architecture and strategy. Managed the large Oracle Exadata infrastructure for a global Investment Bank, and some very well known UK high street retailers. An experienced Oracle DBA and System Administrator with some 22 years experience as a production DBA having administered Oracle databases from version 8.0 up to and including 19c. Performed numerous installations, migrations, upgrades and consolidations over numerous database versions. Very knowledgeable around the area of high availability configurations, having been running RAC and dataguard for around 16 years over multiple database and O/S versions. Good communication skills and has presented many times at UKOUG events, and Oracle OpenWorld on a wide variety of topics including Oracle Cloud, Automation, Exadata, and core database.
