   As a Staff Software Consultant at Test Double, I work with client organizations as both a senior engineer and engagement lead, helping teams deliver meaningful software while navigating technical complexity, evolving requirements, and organizational constraints.On client engagements, I’m often embedded directly within product teams, taking responsibility for guiding execution, aligning engineers around shared goals, and supporting client leadership with day-to-day decision-making that keeps work moving forward. This includes facilitating planning discussions, clarifying tradeoffs, and helping teams converge on solutions that are reliable, maintainable, and user-centered. Many of my engagements extend beyond feature delivery into platform and developer-experience initiatives with organization-wide impact.Alongside delivery work, I invest heavily in growing the people and systems around me. This means supporting engineers through mentorship and feedback, reinforcing effective development and testing practices, and helping teams adapt their processes using Agile- and Shape Up-inspired approaches. My technical contributions most often span Ruby on Rails and Elixir/Phoenix, building meaningful features that are often the extensible foundation for future work long after an engagement ends.Within Test Double, I contribute to the health and evolution of the organization itself. I serve as an interviewer in our candidate qualification process and previously worked as a Success Agent, a cross-cutting role focused on supporting consultants and improving team dynamics. I’ve also helped lead internal initiatives such as launching our Onboarding Buddy program and strengthening cohesion across a fully remote company.Across both client and internal work, my focus is on enabling teams to operate with clarity, confidence, and momentum. My goals are simple: reducing friction, increasing shared ownership, and creating environments where engineers can do their best work.
