ABOUT JASON JUNG
I thrive in fast-paced high volume working environments, and my experience with the liquor distribution warehouse has provided invaluable skills and knowledge. I welcome new challenges in new working environments that needed a leader who comes through in the clutch. As a result, I\'ve developed a skill-set that is unique, valuable and transferable to a diverse range of working environments. I am a skilled researcher and writer – having prepared numerous research papers and hundreds of journalism articles. I have developed strong communication skills that have met the highest professional standards in writing - helping me expand into video and radio. At one point, I worked as a radio producer and hosted a radio show of avant-garde music for a local and global audience. In 2015, I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. At UBC, I was able to develop an appreciation for the arts, social justice, and empowerment to under-represented groups. The History program has enhanced my analytical skills in understanding social relations, interactions, and cultural values and perceptions. I have also been a manager for a retail company the last 10 years, learning a lot about what makes great customer service and dedicating myself to making customers feel welcomed. My experiences were invaluable and they\'ve helped me get the big picture. I\'ve developed extremely high standards in customer service. I understand the influence outstanding leaders have on their teams, so I hope to continue my journey to becoming a positive influence that helps others strive to meet and exceed personal and company goals. I’m always looking to expand my professional network! Every opportunity was hard earned.
