ABOUT JASON AGUINALDO
People, Processes, and Data. I believe in working smarter, embracing technologies, and bringing out talent in working with others. I love being a support, resource, and subject matter expert where needed- yet I humbly accept that \"expert\" is relative and temporary: I\'m a lifelong learner.I\'m an adaptive leader and follower, and a lover of systems, performance, and information puzzles! Tame the chaos, find a structure, and move onward. While I\'ve rarely had \"manager\" in my titles, I prefer to lead from knowledge, process, and influence. I\'m humbled to have worked with talented colleagues and leaders through roles in employee development, project, asset, and property management in the multifamily housing industry. I\'m pursuing my Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership (currently a candidate!) and am excited to contribute to learning communities in academic and multifamily industry capacities. My dissertation/research will focus on learning and development practices and their impact on employee engagement, retention, and sense of organizational belonging/value.I live in Southern California but am pretty much bicoastal with my NYC job (I\'m a former New Yorker)! I’ve supported operations for new construction, renovation, and stabilized assets in the New York City/Northeast, Los Angeles, Orange County (CA), San Francisco/Bay Area, and Seattle/Pacific Northwest housing markets.
