Leading the commercial activities within the EPUKI Business Development function and reporting to the senior team at EPUKI, this role focuses on significant energy infrastructure development projects from concept through tendering, commercial negotiations, legal contract formation, and where relevant Final Investment Decision. Acting as the main liaison with the EPPE Procurement team whilst developing and implementing bespoke procurement strategies, it is essential that this role works closely with a cross-functional team including numerous external consultants, to build specifications and commercial documents, whilst building strong relationships and influencing both internal and external senior stakeholders. Projects highlights include: Eggborough Power CCGT - The development and procurement of the £1bn EPC build for one of the biggest and most efficient CCGTs in the UK. Lynemouth BECCS – The ongoing procurement for Carbon Capture plant for 3mt of Co2 per annum. Kilroot – CCGT Conversion – A multi package procurement of HRSG, steam turbines and E&C contractors for the conversion of the new OCGT plant into a CCGT power plant. Tynagh OCGT – Multipackage procurement for the build of a 350MW OCGT power station in Ireland.Kilroot OCGT – OJEU multipackage procurement for the construction of 700MW OCGT power plant. Construction completion is expected in 2023. South Humber Bank. A full tender for the build of an Energy from Waste plant and 800kt per annum of Waste supply contracts. Eggborough power CCGT conversion. Development of planning consents and tendering the £1bn EPC build for one of the biggest and most efficient CCGTs in the UK.Lynemouth Biomass conversion. Development of the port and logistics solution for Lynemouth Power, which involved extensive commercial negotiations in significant capital investment in infrastructure at the Port of Tyne, rail rolling stock and supply contract development.
