I execute the planning and development of strategies to disseminate information on behalf of an organization advocating for evidence-based changes to the District of Columbia’s justice system. I serve as the principal writer, editor, and manager of consultants on 30-plus research articles for an online library on complex justice system policy issues. As part of a team, I\'ve developed correspondence for members of the Council of the District of Columbia and Mayoral supervised agencies. I\'ve led trainings on research, writing, the packaging of information, and strategies to disseminate materials for three dozen directly impacted people, resulting in about thirty readymade public safety policy proposals. In 2024, I co-managed 47 volunteers on 24 different projects, including 39 pro-bono law firm volunteers. As part of the DC Justice Lab team, in 2024, my work contributed to enacting legislation that strengthens protections for women navigating childbirth and pregnancy in the DC jail, striking a task force to study and make recommendations for reparations, and reduced the number of ineffective public safety policies that could have been enacted.
