Been in construction just over 10 years starting off as a Technical Apprentice progressing my career to recently completing my degree and working my way up to being a fully qualified Quantity Surveyor.Quantity Surveying is about being proactive, adaptable to different commercial situations because no two projects are the same. With the experienced gathered from working on heritage projects to new build developments, while working for small SME’s to corporate companies has enabled me tailor my skillset to the project requirements to maintain the standards I set myself to achieve in order to assist in the project been a success. The industry is changing and the main focus needs to be on working together, maintain good relationships with the supply chain and working with clients on overcoming challengers. Construction isn’t about one party, it’s a collective effort in a project being successful.
