About Jason Williams
I began as an Engineering Technician with ARIS Engineering, Inc in 2003, assisting in professional engineering services in residential and light commercial projects. I performed structural assessments, roof damage assessments, moisture analysis and assessments, as well as contract and project management for hundreds of structural evaluations yearly. I have a B.S. in Construction Management degree from Missouri State University, a B.S. in Civil Engineering through the Missouri University of Science and Technology, Summa Cum Laude, and a MS in Civil Engineering, Structural Emphasis thru Kansas State University. In July of 2015, I began as a structural designer and forensic investigator for Miller Engineering, P.C. providing consulting services on commercial and residential projects, construction inspections, project management services and forensic investigations with an emphasis on 3D modeling and load path analysis in addition to commercial and residential design services. In September of 2017, I joined American Structurepoint, Inc. continuing to provide forensic investigation, structural design and analysis, historic preservation, building envelope evaluations, storm damage investigations, property condition assessments, including capital needs, relocation inspections, FHA inspections, HUD foundation certifications, and HUD 203K consulting. Having performed thousands of forensic evaluations with structural and building envelope scopes, I am able to bring a unique perspective and level of detail to projects that is not conventional in today\'s construction market. Familiarity with past and current building codes, as well as experience as an expert witness in construction defect and insurance settlements allows me to help clients solve their property issues by finding effective solutions that fit their needs.
