ABOUT JASON WILLIAMS
As Director of Operations for IEA Inc, Jason Williams brings more than 30 years of experience in aviation planning, capital program development, and project management across the FAA, large-hub airports, military installations, and international consulting environments.Most recently, Jason served as Lead Community Planner for the FAA’s Louisiana and New Mexico Airports District Office (ADO), providing oversight of airport capital and planning programs in close coordination with state DOTs and airport sponsors. In this role, he supported 110 airports across both states and managed their federal funding and grant application process valued at $300M annually. Additionally, he oversaw more than 80 airport layout plans, master plans, and airspace planning efforts since 2022.Mr. Williams offers strategic, innovative, and large-scale planning experience from Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport, where he held multiple management positions over more than seven years. At DFW, he led aviation planning efforts supporting development of a $9 billion, 10-year capital plan that helped reshape the airport’s long-term development footprint. Additionally, Jason worked as an Aviation Consultant and Site Project Manager with Kellogg Brown & Root (KBR), managing aviation contracts worldwide in support of the U.S. Department of State and Department of Defense, including work in Dubai, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Mr. Williams served more than 20 years in the U.S. Army Aviation Branch, retiring in 2010. He is a certified FAA Air Traffic Controller and a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives unique experience as an airport owner/operator representative, consultant, and FAA subject matter expert provides exceptional value to clients. He translates large-hub best practices into right-sized, practical solutions for airports of all categories, applying current methodologies in planning, phasing, and construction delivery to meet the specific size, scope, and operational needs of each project.
