About Jason Williams
I am a passionate software developer currently residing in Columbus Ohio. Since 2008 I have enjoyed working in various roles with a municipality and two insurance companies. I have worked primary with ASP.NET coding in C#, Javascript (including jQuery and knockout) and Visual Basic. I have also worked with MVC and Java and have experience in SQL and DB2 database environments. One of my firm beliefs is that it is important for developers to understand the business process in order to meet the needs of the client. In my various roles I have functioned as a Business Analyst and Tester in addition to being developer, which I feel helps me deliver a better product to the client with less errors (especially requirement errors). Outside of coding I enjoy exercise and am an avid runner having completed a number of half marathons and one full marathon.
