ABOUT JASON WHITE

Experienced CEO/Executive Director with demonstrated entrepreneurial success and leadership in the behavioral health field (mental health and substance use disorder programming). I spearheaded the development of a multi-million dollar non-profit, served as its CEO for 10 years, and doubled the company’s value/revenue in my last year, while transitioning to academia; now serving as faculty in the university system, and as president/CEO of Prep Group, LLC (my research firm established in 2018). I have a multitude of skills, and professional and clinical licenses. I am skilled at dissertation, manuscript, and book editing (as evidenced by my publications), research and grant writing (as evidenced by my ability to lead a grant team to a $2.5m grant award), business and program start-up (as evidenced by my ability to build a multi-million-dollar nonprofit), organization diagnosis and treatment (as evidenced by my ability to set up clinics and a web of treatment programs that interact with each other), building training programs and teaching (as evidenced by my work as university faculty), and organizational and behavioral health coaching (as evidenced by my work and credentials). Additionally, I am skilled in Administration, Management, Behavioral Health Policy and Licensing, and Human Resources. I have advanced civil engineer training as a construction project manager, where I have managed millions of dollars in resources across government construction projects. With the right resources, I can build, navigate certificate of need, license, and operate a medical/behavioral health facility/hospital from the ground up (this is the work I am most interested in; building a psychiatric hospital from start to finish). I am a strong business development professional with an Educational Doctorate focused in Educational Leadership and Leader Behavior from the University of New England. Over the years, I have been appointed to and served on, government boards and committees; as well as worked with the governor\'s office, officials, and state legislators, to develop solution-based policies. I am particularly skilled at bringing people together, at all levels, to accomplish large-scale projects.
