Hive South Yorkshire is the hub for young writer activity in the South Yorkshire region, supporting young people aged between 14 to 25, through an online network that signposts all kinds of writing opportunities, such as workshops in four South Yorkshire towns, writers\' days, mentoring, open mic events, residentials and retreats and competition and publishing opportunities. My role as a partner is to provide governance for Hive South Yorkshire and Hive Young Writers and to support the organisation going forward from autumn 2019 as set out in the activity plan, and shall have the power to do all acts in furtherance of the Partnership business.
