ABOUT JASON WATTS

Now in our tenth year of operation, Scholarship Prep Public Schools serves students and families across Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego Counties. We seek communities where needs are high, expectations should be higher, and “good intentions” don’t count unless they show up as real results for students. We’re scaling carefully—expanding access without compromising quality.I serve as the Executive Director. While I’m ultimately accountable for the whole organization, my day-to-day lane is primarily external-facing: growth and expansion strategy, authorizer and stakeholder relationships, community and philanthropic partnerships, and solving the “high-stakes” problems that can either unlock progress—or quietly stall it. My goal is simple: keep the mission moving forward and equip exceptional leaders to do their best work.I also oversee the Scholarship Prep Community Foundation, which helps us wrap practical support around families and strengthen the communities our schools serve—because student success rarely depends on academics alone.I’m proud of our progress—and never satisfied (in the healthy way). I’m always looking for partners who want their support to translate into measuring what matters, successful execution, and meaningful impact for students and families.
