About Jason Thiagarajan
I am a Junior at Purdue University pursuing a degree in Biological Engineering and a minor in Biotechnology. I am part of the inaugural cohort of the Lilly Scholars at Purdue program (awarded full tuition and a Sophomore internship at Eli Lilly & Company) and was chosen with one other in the cohort to represent the program in promotional material and interviews. I have previously completed 2 separate pharmaceutical manufacturing engineering internships, and over a year of research in the Indiana University Department of Chemistry. I am currently an undergraduate researcher at the Ristroph Lab in the Purdue University Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering, as well as the Director of Outreach for the Purdue chapter of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers.I am endlessly fascinated by the frontiers of process design for nanoparticle encapsulation methods of drug delivery, and I am also passionate about bridging the gap between bench-top research and industrial-scale implementation.
