   Responsible for and manage the priorities, personnel and budgets in the Legal, Regulatory and Creative teams within the organization. • Serve as the primary legal advisor to Lang’s private label core dietary supplement CPG business as well as Lang’s parent company, Aker BioMarine, and its interests as an ingredient supplier, as well Aker’s branded dietary supplement business in North America. • Accountable for all transactional, compliance, human resources and litigation matters including class actions, including selecting, hiring and managing any external litigation counsel. • Drive and solidify key partnerships with unique ingredient suppliers, manufacturers, packagers and technology providers from initiation through contractual commitment and ensure relationship sustainability. • Develop and oversee a regulatory and risk management process to protect the financial and reputational well-being of Lang and associated stakeholders including its executive team, managers, employees, retail customers and capital investors. • Create and manage a Claim Review Process for all product claims to be used in advertising, substantiating the science for said claims, and ensuring the proper creation of all marketing including television and retailer website advertising, labels, cartons, and in-store promotions. • Coordinate and operate all Quarterly Board Meetings along with creating associated corporate governance documents. • Member of the Senior Leadership Team, and closely work with and advise the CEO/President with respect to all company strategies, including organic and non-organic opportunities. • Protect and enhance Lang’s corporate values, positive working culture and Lang’s commitment to ethical business practices.
