About Jason Stanley

Began my career at General Electric in 2003. Worked in Assembly and Fabrication departments. Began going back to college in 2008, obtaining my bachelor\'s degree in Management and Leadership in December 2011. Held the roles of General Factory Operator, Material Handler, Equipment Operator, Shop Services and Set-up Equipment prior to getting my degree. Held the roles of Material Planner/Buyer and Manager of Shop Operations after obtaining my degree. ABB purchased General Electric in 2018. ABB ceased operations in the Morristown, TN facility in 2021 and moved the work to the Saltillo, Mexico facility. I have been in my current role of Production Manager at Greenworks since December 2021.My background includes a history of promotions into roles with increasing responsibilities. At one point in my purchasing career, I was responsible for all incoming material into the Morristown, TN plant ($25 million annual spend) due to a staff shortage. I was able to effectively manage plastic, steel, and copper inventory, while also meeting quarterly RIP targets. Also managed subcontractor needs based on schedule. Responsible for all MRO as well. As Manager of Shop Operations, I have been able to effectively assemble and train a group of employees who can be flexible based on the needs of the business. I have also been successful in helping modify our fabrication layout to allow better part flow throughout our facility.Key strengths include vendor/supplier relationships, inventory management and control, process improvements, purchase forecasting and planning, scheduling, employee management, team building, and strong communication.Awards/Accomplishments:Front Line Leadership Training (2016)Above and Beyond Recipient (2016 and 2017)SAP Super User Certification (2018)Lean Yellow Belt Certification (2019)Management Essentials Program (2019)- 1 week training program in Richmond, Virginia.Also crane and forklift certified.
