About Jason Pierre
I have learned to focus on the controllable skills of hard work, adaptability, and communication in each endeavor I pursue. I have developed these skills from numerous sales and consulting jobs in college, an internship at RSM in Assurance, and my current role as an Assurance Associate at RSM. Ultimately I accredit the Lord for His grace for who I am and anything I accomplish. I majored in Business Administration with emphases in Accounting and Finance, and minors in Marketing and Communication. I completed 150 units to be CPA qualified while being a student athlete all four years of college. I’ve held multiple internships working on the financial, sales and campaigning components of international start-up companies trying to expand to the United States. These companies include Avokad.io from Turkey and Vision Dynamix from North Macedonia. During my senior year I worked as a price consultant at Preston Ventures, assisting the pricing team with investments in life settlements. In 2023 I graduated from Concordia University, hiked miles of the Pacific Crest Trail and began working at RSM as an Assurance Associate August of 2023.In college, I maintained a 3.7 GPA, while being a student athlete and competing in the 2021 Concordia Business Plan Competition where I received 3rd place, and in 2022 where I received 1st place. I received the Intercollegiate Scholarship for Excellence in Finance at graduation. Currently at RSM I primarily work in the consumer products and industrial goods industries. I am actively studying for the CPA exam. Additionally, I have the privilege of being the office lead for our Abilities Employee Network Group. The group’s mission is to engage with local groups in the community and educate employees on the basis of inclusion for needs in the workforce.
