Jason has over 20 years of experience in spatial modeling and analysis of natural resource development and associated ecological and economic indicators. Jason is currently working on several carbon-related projects, including determining the annual net carbon sequestration across the land base for a large private forestland, assessing the carbon offset potential for several project candidates, developing and reviewing carbon-timber optimization models, and building a Woodstock-based model as part of a large-scale forest management and carbon project. Jason has broad experience in timber supply analysis and has been involved in several valuations of forestland along the west coast of North America.
