The Senior QA Project Lead will be responsible for managing and overseeing quality assuranceactivities throughout the product lifecycle. This position ensures the highest standards of quality,compliance with industry regulations, and drives continuous improvement in medical deviceproduction. The Senior QA Project Lead will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams,including R&D, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Sales, and Supply Chain, to achieveoperational excellence and ensure regulatory adherence.Responsibilities:Project Leadership: Lead and manage quality assurance initiatives across new productdevelopment, process enhancements, and ongoing product lifecycles. Risk Management: Spearhead risk management processes, including risk assessments, failuremode effects analysis (PFMEA), and root cause analysis for non-conformances in both productand process.Process Optimization: Identify and implement continuous process improvements utilizingmethodologies such as CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), Lean, Six Sigma, and otherquality tools to enhance product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and operational effectiveness.Quality System Support: Ensure the effectiveness of the company’s Quality ManagementSystem (QMS), monitoring compliance with both internal and external quality standards. Oversee deviation investigations, CAPA investigations and corrective/preventive action development and implementation, and overall QMS adherence.Testing and Validation: Supervise the development of test plans, protocols, and reports.Ensure comprehensive validation and verification activities for medical devices and relatedprocesses are effectively executed.Audit Support: Support and participate in internal and external audits, inspections, andregulatory reviews. Assist sites in preparing required documentation and provide responses toaudit findings to ensure compliance and corrective actions.
