I have worked in the railroad and transportation industry in various capacities since leaving the United States Marine Corps in 2005. I have extensive experience in hiring, training and evaluating employees for safety and compliance. Developing and executing operating plans. Customer service, budget compliance, interdepartmental coordination and execution. Experience with aggregate, agricultural, automotive, intermodal, petroleum, and manufacturing rail service. Extensive experience with the investigation and clearing of accidents and injuries. Including derailments, crossing accidents, employee injuries, 3rd party injuries and accidents. Regulatory compliance, inspection, audit, and enforcement with the Federal Railroad Administration. Extensive experience conducting on site inspections, joint testing with Railroad managers, accident and incident investigation, regulatory compliance audits, and training activities with new hire inspectors on my respective region.I participated in an Interagency Rotation with the Federal Aviation Administrations Unmanned Aircraft Systems Office of Integration (AUS-10). This experience allowed me the opportunity to learn a great deal about the regulation and use of unmanned aircraft that are being seen more frequently in the Railroad and transportation operating environment for infrastructure inspections and operations functions. During my rotation with the FAA-UAS office I assisted with the planning and coordination of a nationwide safety awareness campaign, Drone Safety Awareness Week. Worked with the Remote ID, Ops Over People, and BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) development groups. Provided executive support for FAA-UAS hosted meetings and events. This experience lead me to my role with Easy Aerial. I served as the Rail and Transportation Applications Program Manager, during which time we fostered existing, and developed new business relationships with several North American rail carriers as well as port facilities and shipping entities.My current role as Director - Onsite Programs for MxV Rail puts me back in the rail industry. Working with multiple specialties and departments to develop and execute research and development programs for equipment and material.
