Responsible for the operation and uptime of seven ViaWest Co-location Data Center facilities in the Utah market totaling square feet of white floor and kW of UPS capacity. Regional responsibilities include:\\\\n• Oversight of all routine and project based infrastructure maintenance at each of the seven Utah facilities. This includes UPS, Cooling, Generator, Power Distribution, Fire Systems.\\\\n• Forecast and report on both capital and operational expenses.\\\\n• Handle vendor management duties including contract negotiation, scoring and reporting.\\\\n• Manage and report on existing infrastructure for accurate capacity planning.\\\\n• Responsible for the training, progression, scoring and certification of staff at all levels.\\\\n\\\\nEnterprise duties include the design, creation and implementation of a custom built data center infrastructure management tool that cost effectively manages DCIM functions such as:\\\\n• Asset management and reporting for all categories of infrastructure.\\\\n• Maintenance forecasting, scheduling, management and reporting.\\\\n• Repair management, categorization and reporting.\\\\n• Space management and reporting at the room, cage, cabinet level.\\\\n• Emergency response documentation and procedures at the unit level.\\\\n• Utilization metrics with executive dashboards.\\\\n• Vendor management including logical contact lists and scoring across seven maintenance disciplines for all repair and preventative maintenance activities.\\\\n• Infrastructure documentation functions for recording maintenance reports, operations and response manuals, alarm response information, procedures, facility maps, one-line diagrams etc.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
