Being Chief Engineer, it\'s my job to lead, but to also set the standard and expectations of the department. I oversee Capital projects, day to day operations, including the building automation controls, all of our critical mechanical equipment, and manage our operations/capital budgets. The greatest level of respect, in my opinion, is having a group of individuals who want to work for you. I come in with the mindset of lifting my men up and motivating them to push forward. We\'re only as good as our weakest link. If one person fails, we as a department fail. I\'ve got a family at home, who depend on me. Which in turn, gives me a burning desire to succeed and constantly pushes myself to be a better leader, and a better man. To never compromise and to never become complacent.
