My job requirements change on a daily basis as needed.Either way no matter what im doing i work closely with engineering. I mentor temporary employees as well as direct hires with proper shop procedures and ESD understanding. On a typical day when i do a new product launch i start with pulling my own kits, then I check my bill of materials, and my parts list, and my drawings before i start my project also check the revs of the drawing to make sure they match. I then start building my projects after all that is done. then do any wireing required. Next i do pre test before i give the unit to testing. I also check in with engineering for status updates on parts and other items needed on my future jobs and i use syteline to check on my inventory and to check on my bill of material and to pull my kits. IPC 610 and 620 Certified all 9 modules and ESD certified. I work on new product launches as well as process control of new projects as well as creating the work instructions assembly instructions and the red lines.
