   In my years of consulting at Alta, I worked in both lead and support roles as a planner, project manager, facilitator, speaker/presenter, analyst, writer, graphic designer, and cartographer. At various points in my career at Alta, I was assigned as the Durham Office Manager, the North Carolina Planning Group Lead, and Alta’s companywide Planning Practice Area Leader. Highlights include creating the overall vision map for the Memphis Region\'s Mid-South Greenprint (winner of an APA Award for Excellence in Sustainability); leading the Great Trails State Plan in North Carolina, designed to connect all 100 counties; leading the Trails Plan for the Great Springs Project, which will connect Austin and San Antonio while protecting acres of land; serving as a planner for Chuck Flink, FASLA, for the Charleston County Greenbelt Plan, which has protected over acres of low country landscapes to-date; and most all, having a unique opportunity to meet hundreds of inspiring community leaders over the years that are all working in various ways to improve the world around them.
