Provide leadership, direction, and coordination for the college’s career and employment services team and functions. responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive vision and strategy for employment services while focusing on creating an environment to support student success through proactive, consistent and student-centered service. • Analyze, develop, implement, and monitor college-wide policies, procedures, and other activities to effectively and positively influence employment services. • Establish and maintain relationships with prospective employers. • Strategically manage the focus and timing of employer recruitment efforts with special consideration to supply side conditions, thereby yielding relevant seeker/employer interactions at the appropriate time. • Develop and coordinate a system to provide on-campus interview opportunities for qualified students and employers seeking students/graduates, and employment service activities including workshops, career fairs, and on-campus recruitment activities. • Maintain and effectively utilize databases, including Handshake; CRM system/s; and other software programs to support and deliver employment services, and communicate with the college, students, and employers. • Track employment services data to measure and evaluate effectiveness of career and employment services. • Partner with key college departments, including Business & Workforce Solutions, academic deans and faculty, to ensure collaboration and coordination of effective strategies to support employer and student/graduate connections. • Assist with the acquisition, maintenance, and dissemination of information regarding careers, labor market information, employment opportunities, and specific employers for full-time and internship opportunities. • Hire, train, lead, mentor and motivate career and employment services team; encourage professional development and engagement.
