About Jason Plubell

I am a rising senior finance major at Pennsylvania State University. Previously, I held the positions of President of the PSU DuBois Student Government and Co- Chair on the Student Activity Fee Committee. I have also held the position of Financial Manager for the Council of Commonwealth Student Governments. Professionally, I have worked as an intern for the PSU DuBois marketing department. In the summer of 2023, I was hired as a Loan Servicer at CNB Bank and a participant in PPG Primers Week. I then spent the summer of 2024 as a Corporate Credit Intern with PPG Industries. As a well-rounded leader, I pride myself on my discipline, drive, ability to communicate, adaptability, and being a very coachable individual. As Student Government President, I learned the importance of open communication, being able to support others, and taking any unexpected situation in stride. Having navigated professional experiences with CNB Bank, and most recently PPG, with little knowledge of anything pertaining my role, I have successfully demonstrated an ability to retain new information quickly, take initiative, hold meetings, and ultimately have successful corporate experiences. I have gained knowledge and experience within the retail banking sector, as well as corporate finance. I am constantly looking for opportunities to improve myself each day and I look forward to further developing my skills in Finance as well as the intangible traits discussed above.
