Coordinate both internal and external resources as required to manage industrial development activities• Responsible for the entire pre-construction and construction process including but not limited to preparation of estimates, plans and specifications, permit process, bid process and construction contracts within established parameters• Review due diligence materials and present findings to Real Estate Managers and Executive Management on viability of sites for development• Assist Real Estate Managers with site acquisition and the project entitlement process• Evaluate and procure design, consulting, and construction services• Assist in developing site plans that are consistent with market demands• Monitor trends in the construction market including cost of materials and labor• Understand and convey the inherent risks associated with a particular project• Manage the procurement of project permits and approvals• Responsible for hiring and managing a team of qualified Development Managers to oversee the development of industrial projects
