Direct and provide instructional leadership of the English Language Development and Science departments, which serves students grades 6-12. Design, implement and lead two Newcomer Centers that serve students from the Far Northeast Denver region. Conduct professional development for teachers on instructional strategies to support English Language Learners. Engage teachers in the observation and feedback cycle, provide targeted coaching on high impact instruction, lesson planning and conduct teacher evaluations. Lead high school grade level teams, which work collaboratively to provide all students with the academic, social and emotional supports to ensure their success. Manage building wide discipline systems grounded in Restorative Approaches. Develop and coordinate post-secondary programing such as Concurrent-Enrollment, P/SAT prep and ICAP.
