ABOUT JASON MCTAGGART
With over 8 years of experience in engineering management and leadership, I am currently the Director of Engineering at TextNow, a leading mobile app that provides free texting and calling services. I lead a team of engineers who develop and maintain the portions of the app such as onboarding, SIM order, activation, in app purchases and advertising. I also coach boardercross snowboarding at Beaver Valley Ski Club, where I share my passion and skills with young athletes. I have a B.Cis degree in Computer Science from the University of Guelph, where I graduated with academic excellence. I am motivated by the mission of TextNow to make communication accessible and affordable for everyone, and I value innovation, collaboration, and diversity in my work. I bring a unique perspective and experience to the engineering team, and I am always eager to learn and grow.
