ABOUT JASON MAYO

Jason, a native of rural Eastern North Carolina, brings a wealth of strategic thought and implementation experience to the table. Before joining Delta Oaks Group as an Executive, he honed his skills over 20 years in the telecom infrastructure sector with a Fortune 500 Company (Crown Castle) focusing on acquiring and developing high value real estate for mission critical infrastructure. With a keen focus on People, Strategy and Risk Mitigation, Jason spearheaded Operational Real Estate Strategy and Acquisitions efforts in the New England, Northeastern, and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States for a Fortune 500 Telecom Infrastructure Company. During his tenure, Jason effectively lead and advised nationally on hundreds of highly complex successful projects and managing high performing Real Estate portfolios, distinguishing himself for his unique ability to forge partnerships between key stakeholders, businesses, governments, and public interests. This knack for bridging diverse interests has been a hallmark of his career, positioning him as a valuable asset in complex, full life cycle, multi-stakeholder environments. Jason’s cornerstone belief is that People are THE most important part of any strategic plan. Leading Teams to help employees grow and develop is Jason\'s favorite part of the job!Currently, Jason is leading efforts to help (data center) hyperscalers perform network planning and connectivity more strategically, ultimately ensuring a more certain and predictable plan for growth and client colocation while mitigating risks/roadblocks much earlier in project lifecycle. Jason\'s early career saw him develop his skills in the telecom infrastructure space as a site acquisition and site development manager for Fortune 500 company American Tower Corporation. Jason also served as a planner for two local governments in North Carolina, where he played a pivotal role in facilitating thoughtful development and the creation of local policies that helped shape the community positively for years to come.
