ABOUT JASON MARTIN
Mr. Jason Martin, a federal executive with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA)/ Department of Homeland Security of the United States of America, currently serves as the TSA Federal Security Director at Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Key West International Airport (EYW).Previously, Mr. Martin served as the TSA Representative (TSAR) to Brazil, where he opened the TSA Office at the U.S. Embassy in Brasilia, Brazil, and led TSA\'s support efforts for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Prior to his time overseas with TSA, Mr. Martin served in the Office of Security Technology as the Acting General Manager and Assistant General Manager for Checkpoint Screening Technologies for three years. Mr. Martin has a wide array of experience in program and project management, security design, incident management, strategic planning, business continuity and disaster recovery planning, operational impact assessments, security test and evaluation, and inspection of operational programs. Mr. Martin has managed transportation, security and technology programs for the Departments of Defense, Transportation and Homeland Security.Mr. Martin also served as Vice President - Director of Operations and Security for an international payments company with subsidiaries and offices around the world, and as an Account Manager for Riggs Bank’s Embassy Banking Division, where he managed the bank\'s relationship with the Latin American embassies, consulates and missions in the United States.Mr. Martin possesses a Master’s degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University, where he graduated as an Honors Fellow. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Spanish, from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University Honors Program. Mr. Martin also received a Rotary International Ambassadorial Fellowship to Brazil in 19••••96.
