ABOUT JASON LEWALLEN

At Families, Inc, my approach to mental health intertwines legal insight with a profound commitment to mental well-being. With expertise in Reality Therapy, the team and I navigate clients of diverse ages through the complexities of their mental health journeys, fostering resilience and balance. As a Clinical Supervisor, my role accentuates the importance of creating safe spaces where individuals can confront and overcome life\'s hurdles. Concurrently, as an Adjunct Professor, I am privileged to contribute to the growth of emerging counselors at Arkansas State University. We instill in them the skills crucial for conflict management and effective communication, ensuring they are well-prepared for the demands of the mental health field. The synergy between my practice and teaching enriches both arenas, allowing me to advocate for mental health with a blend of academic rigor and therapeutic innovation. Finally as a Certified Supervisor for Licensed Associate Counselors I strive to strengthen the field of counseling beyond just the clinic in which I practice. I work to engender the strengths of my supervisees rather than attempting to create clones of my personal approach to counseling. I draw on my experiences and trainings to educate, challenge, and encourage my supervisees in journey to becoming Licensed Professional Counselors.
