ABOUT JASON LETKIEWICZ

Jason Letkiewicz is currently the Chief of Security at the Aria/Vdara Resorts. Jason works with the rest of the executive team to provide a safe ande pleasant experience for the guest, patrons, and employees. Jason is an experienced police commander with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Jason has been a police officer with the LVMPD for over 25 years, and a captain for over six years. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administration of Criminal Justice (with honors) from Mountain State University and a Master of Arts Degree in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma. Additionally, Jason is a graduate of the Police Executive Leadership Graduate Program (120th AOC) at the Southern Police Institute and the 260th Session of the FBI National Academy.Jason\'s previous command level assignments include the Traffic Bureau, the Communications Bureau, the Office of Human Resources, the Homicide & Sex Crimes Bureau, and the South Central Area Command. An LVMPD Area Command is one of nine patrol substations commanded by a captain with 4-5 lieutenants, 18-22 sergeants and approximately 160 to 260 police officers, detectives, and civilian employees. Jason has worked a wide variety of assignments during his career with the LVMPD; Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Gang Detective, Patrol Sergeant, Field Training Sergeant, Employement Diversity Section Sergeant, Patrol Lieutenant, Administrative Lieutenant, and Events Planning Lieutenant, where his responsibilities included the oversight of planning and executing a range of high profile special events including presidential motorcades in cooperation with other law enforcement entities at the local, state, and federal levels.
