ABOUT JASON JOYNER

I lead an advanced analytics team at Chick-fil-A. In other words, I lead a team of highly skilled, highly motivated data scientists in building analytic solutions to solve some of our most pressing business problems.I love telling people about the insights our work unlocks for our partners across the business, how our work leads them to make better decisions faster, and how we build and deploy analytic solutions to our partners that enable capabilities in their teams that help them unlock their full potential.I\'m quite proud of the work we\'ve done recently to deliver analytics that improve customer loyalty, both through improving the quality of the rewards we recommend to particular customers based on their loyalty behavior and in how we measure customer loyalty to support both our customer segmentation and customer engagement models.Three of the traits that I bring to work every day are my extensive technical knowledge of statistical and machine learning methods, a practical and efficient approach to model building developed over the course of a 15+ year model-building career, and a passion for solving pressing business problems.Chick-fil-A is, by far, the best place I\'ve worked, whether as a direct employee or as a consultant. The company has a vibrant culture focused on creating lasting positive impact on the people we work with and the communities we serve, sets the bar high both for operational excellence and overall customer experience, and is dedicated to continual improvement and finding the next great idea.Outside of the office, I love reading and travel and reading about travel.
