Working from an integrated perspective combining Clinical Health Psychology, Contemporary Evidence-Based Treatments, Psychoanalytic/Psychodynamic Theory and Mindfulness/Meditative approaches to healing, my orientation is a cultivation of overlapping influences that share common themes of understanding human behavior from a multiplicity of sources. Combining empirical and theoretical sources of literature and experiential and phenomenological approches to knowledge, my goal has been to integrate multiple ways of understanding the human condition while seeking out techniques that promote emotional healing, personal growth and self awareness in an effort to help patients transform. Specialties: The modern, western world is a complicated sphere composed of complex and highly vulnerable and interdependent relational and intra-personal dimensions. In this regard, in addition to the study of traditional psychopathology, I am interested in the study of the intersectionality between the personal, the social and the political selves.
