Provide executive leadership for an independent 501(c)(3) through board governance, developing and sustaining financial viability and the strategic vision for this special organization. Our mission is to bring hope and joy to children living with cancer, their siblings and their families through outrageously fun camping experiences. Ukandu programs are designed for cancer patients and their siblings between the ages of 8 and 18. We serve patients on and off treatment, and siblings of patients, including those who have passed away. Camp Ukandu is a place where 15 year old bald girls or 9 year boys who have lost a limb don\'t have to explain their situation to anyone. UKANDU is a place with every kid can just be a kid.
