Jason Hegrenes is a founding Partner and the COO and CFO of Hunter Street Partners, an alternative investment management firm in Minneapolis focused on fundamentals-based, asset-oriented credit and equity opportunities across corporate finance, real estate, and specialty finance.Jason is responsible for operational, financial, and compliance management. He has 20 years of experience across private equity, hedge funds, and financial services. Prior to Hunter Street, Jason was Head of Operations at Pine River Capital Management where he was responsible for a global team of over 40 individuals. During his tenure, Mr. Hegrenes helped establish the Shenzhen, China office creating a global operational model utilizing offices in Minneapolis, New York, Luxembourg, and China. Prior to that, he was at Thrivent Financial.Jason received a BS in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and an MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
