Lead a team focused on internal and external fleet transportation electrification. Enable Duke Energy utility customers in their electric vehicle transition, driving beyond adoption and increased electric sales with scalable solutions that support electric vehicles, while also preparing for an integrated grid future. Normal responsibilities include directly creating “from scratch” solutions for customer fleet loads, overseeing project team responsibilities, operate a portfolio of EV-related solutions. Additionally, my team works with solutions development organizations to prototype and commercialize new solutions and business line extensions. Identify unique needs of EV fleets and charging strategies to inform regulatory policy and strategy. Engage with legislation teams to provide input to potential legislation in support of electrification efforts.

With over 20 years of experience as a Business Owner, Senior Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Developer, I have proven experience with fortune 500 companies, top level executives, peers, and all walks of life. As a Sole Proprietor of a graphics and web design firm I have worked with external clients large and small managing projects and consulting with business owners for the past 19 years. I have also worked at Duke Energy for the last 18 years and am presently the Senior Project Manager leading multiple business units and hundreds of resources to a successful $584 million project. My team and I received the prestigious James B. Duke award, in 2017 for outstanding project success in 2015 and 2016. I have considerable experience as a Project Manager, Customer Relationship Manager, Business Analyst, Storm Logistics Lead, Kepner Tregoe Process Consultant, Generation Excellence Lead, Diversity President, and Senior Engineering Systems Analyst. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with and lead efforts in multiple facets of Duke’s organization including: Major Capital Projects, Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Compliance, IT Integration, Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Engineering, Training, Planning, Substation, Vegetation Management, Right Of Way, Compliance Audits, Customer Management, Legal, Government/Political, and Resource/Work Management. In my leisure time I support two young children while also balancing my Sole Proprietorship with my career at Duke Energy. For the last couple of years I have had to reduce my efforts on my own business to balance my family needs and to achieve my results at Duke Energy. However, running my own business has given me extensive marketing experience and expanded my knowledge in small business finances while affording me several leadership opportunities in implementing a multitude of external business solutions.
